Justin Lucci
Owner
I grew up in Yardley, PA and attended West Chester University where I graduated with a BS in Exercise Physiology. I received my certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength & Fitness Conditioning Association and am a yellow belt under Duke Roufus Kickboxing. After college, I had an internship with the Philadelphia Eagles which eventually led to a position as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for eight years. I have owned and operated personal training facilities focusing on strength training, speed training, and nutritional guidance from the high school to the professional level. I began boxing and competing in tournaments for jiu jitsu after high school, and always had a love for the sport throughout adulthood. After seeing a CKO in North Jersey, I knew that I wanted to bring the workout over to Yardley. As an owner and instructor, I enjoy seeing members challenge themselves and realize that they can accomplish more than they thought, as well as watching them become physically and mentally stronger.
Nicole Smith

I am from Levittown, PA and have always loved everything fitness related. I am personal training and kettlebell instruction certified through the American Sports and Fitness Association, and have had extensive experience in the gymnastics world. I have spent 15 years as a head coach for competitive gymnastics, 15 years as a strength and conditioning coach for both personal and group training, and was a USAG gymnast and national competitor. My love for fitness, health, and what the body can achieve with proper training was developed at an early age through sports. I started boxing and kickboxing two years ago, and I loved how it challenged me. Kickboxing has improved my coordination, balance, strength, cardio and over all focus; I was hooked right away. With CKO, I love being a part of the members fitness journey and helping them achieve their goals. When I am not at CKO I enjoy weight lifting, hiking, and walking on the beach. I love to read books on nutrition and learn new fitness ideas. I enjoy trying new healthy recipes, although I am not a good cook, but it doesn't stop me from trying!
Alyssa Smith

I grew up Southern New Jersey, but currently live in Newtown, PA. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a BA in Human Development & Family Studies, I moved back to work with social work organizations in Philadelphia. I started at CKO Yardley as a member; I have always been involved in sports and am very competitive, so I wanted a challenging workout that would keep my attention. After getting to know the staff and helping out with the Kids Program, I knew I wanted to be more involved and started instructing classes! When I am not at CKO, I love taking my dogs to the park and going to football games with my family. My favorite part of working at CKO are the great relationships that I have made with my coworkers and our members. There really is a family feeling whenever we are at the gym, and it is a great atmosphere to be in!
Nadine Curless

I grew up in Holland Pennsylvania and trained in martial arts for 4 years. In 2010 I was awarded my first degree black belt. After that, I began kickboxing classes and loved every minute of it. I started at CKO Kickboxing Yardley as a member when they first opened in May 2015; I loved it so much that I became a part of the CKO instructor family in January 2016. What I love most about being an instructor is coming along side of our members and helping them achieve their fitness goal, whatever those may be. When I'm not at CKO, I love spending time with my beautiful kids and husband whether we're running around at the park or home playing outside.
Stephanie Burke

I grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and went to college at Temple University where I studied Elementary and Special Education. I am a retired teacher and a full time nanny. I started teaching fitness classes about four years ago when I became a certified indoor cycling instructor though Madd Dogg Athletics. I also hold a certification in Boot Camp Circuit Group Fitness classes. In my spare time, I enjoy lifting weights and cooking. My favorite part about instructing at CKO is being able to motivate members toward meeting their fitness goals through kickboxing.
Kelly Schleyer

I am from Warminster, PA and have my Associates Degree in Business from Bucks County Community College. I have always had a fitness background doing karate, Crossfit, and gymnastics when I was younger. I got into kickboxing because I really missed the technique from karate and wanted to get back into something similar. Being part of the CKO staff is so much fun, especially when I see the members that I work with getting results that they want! It really is a family feel with the staff and with all of our members, and the workouts are obviously great as well! When I am not at CKO I enjoy hanging out with my dogs and going on walks, spending time with my husband and going on rides in his truck, and going on wine tours with friends and family.
Kerry Gansworth

I am originally from Levittown, PA and have my BS with a minor in Education, coaching, and health. Fitness has always been very important to me; I have been involved in martial arts since the age of nine and been a runner for years and continue to do charity runs whenever possible. I began martial arts as a child at Shotokan Karate where I received my first degree black belt and participated in the Junior Olympics. As I got older I took a short break from martial arts, but this made me realize that it truly was my passion. So at the age of 19 I continued my martial arts journey with MMA and I loved it, mainly Muay Thai and Kickboxing. My favorite part about being a trainer at CKO is that I get to be a positive part of someones day. Exercise can turn a bad day into a good one; seeing our awesome members come in, work hard, and leave feeling better about themselves (and maybe a little sore) is extremely rewarding to me. Outside of the gym, I love being with my family and friends. I enjoy spending time outdoors and go camping almost every weekend over the summer where we go boating, fishing, and various water sports.
